Ita Gibney discusses climate in Business Post article
In The Sunday Business Post (8 December 2024), our Executive Chairman Ita Gibney encourages the professional services sector to develop a moral compass on climate and put in place systems to measure the downstream impacts of their work for clients.
This is informed by a new report from the UN’s Race to Zero campaign and the University of Oxford, which calls on lawyers, accountants, PR professionals, lobbyists and consultants to engage with the concept of ‘serviced emissions’.
In her piece, Ita notes: "Service providers can enhance their own brand value by building new relationships with climate positive clients, and develop new service offerings that reflect this outlook."
