Gibney Communication founder- and Chairman, Ita Gibney was amongst the female leaders at the Chartered Accountants Ireland Annual Dinner 2024, held at the Dublin Convention Centre on Friday 19 January.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland was founded 136 years ago and is the largest professional accountancy body on the island of Ireland. 

Pictured, Dr Margaret Downes (second from left) became its first female President in 1983. Shauna Greely (far right) followed in 2017, while current President Sinead O’Donovan (fourth from left) will be followed in 2026 by current Vice President, Pamela McCreedy (first left). They are pictured with Ita Gibney (third from left) , Chairman of Gibney Communications, who has worked with the Institute during each of their periods of office.
