Solar energy has the potential to create more than 7,000 jobs in Ireland and to deliver 7% of our total electricity needs. It is currently the only renewable energy form in Ireland that receives no State support and Ireland is one of the few countries in Europe that has yet to formally recognise the potential of solar. Gibney Communications partnered with the Irish Solar Energy Association on a strategy to communicate with all key audiences on the need for and advantages of State recognition for the solar power industry.
